"Again, [amen,] I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18: 19-20).
Welcome! It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Website of the English-speaking Sector of the Cursillo Movement in the Diocese of Charlotte. Our goal is to form leaders who will assist their Catholic sisters and brothers bring Christ's message of love to their particular environments: family, friends, neighborhood, community and church.
Cursillo members are urged to respond to their baptismal call to evangelize communities as well as individuals through prayer, study and personal contact, each and every one of them recognizing that the Lord counts on them to do his work because they are His eyes, ears, mouth, hands and feet in today's world.
It is our prayerful hope that this Web site will help bring you closer to your sisters and brothers in Christ, indeed to Christ himself. |

| Cursillo literature cites several different definitions for the purpose of the Cursillo Movement. While the wording (definitions) may vary, the idea is the same. This is due, in part, to the fact that the purpose of Cursillo is multi faceted. |
